How credits work
One credit produces one preview. You have two kinds, and you can see both in your account at any time:
- Roll-over credits come with a PewPreview+ membership. You get 10 a month, unused ones stack up to 30 while you're a member, and they're spent first. They end when the membership does.
- Purchased credits — bought outright or earned through referrals — never expire and stay yours even if you cancel a membership.
You're only charged for previews that actually work. If a render fails, comes back blank, or gets blocked, the credit goes straight back to your balance. Tweaking and comparing a preview you've already generated is free — you only spend a credit when a new preview is generated.
What an AI preview can and can't do
A PewPreview render is an AI-generated visualization, not a photograph of a finished job. It's built to help you decide — to see how a color reads on your actual hardware, compare options side by side, and show a shop exactly what you have in mind.
AI makes mistakes. Expect small differences from the real thing:
- Color can shift slightly from the true Cerakote swatch, especially across different lighting.
- Small details get missed or simplified — screws, pins, engravings, edges and tiny parts.
- Patterns vary between renders. Camo blob layout is generated fresh each time and won't match a real stencil exactly.
- Occasionally a part is skipped or color lands somewhere you didn't pick.
If a preview comes out wrong, generate another — and if it failed outright, you weren't charged for it. Treat the render as a starting point for the conversation with your coater, not a quote, a colour-match guarantee, or a promise of the finished result. Always confirm the final colors and coverage with the shop doing the work.
If prices change
Price changes are forward-only, with at least 30 days' notice, and take effect on your next billing period — cancel before it lands and you're never charged the new rate. Credits you've already bought are never devalued or taken away.
Billing & taxes
Payments are securely processed by Paddle.com, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles checkout, invoicing, and any applicable sales tax or VAT. Subscriptions renew automatically each period and can be canceled at any time from your account or your Paddle billing portal. See our Refund Policy for details.
